The leading medical institution in Latvia – Rīga Stradiņš University has founded the Nuclear Medicine Clinic to improve cancer diagnostics in the country with the most innovative and precise diagnostic method of PET/CT. The Clinic is trustworthy because it has designated the area of expertise and meets all European standards, incorporating all aspects of oncological radioisotope imaging for a wide range of malignant disease, including one of the newest and most specific radiotracer Ga-PSMA for prostate cancer diagnostics.
Cyclotron Complex at Nuclear Medicine Clinic is the only PET radiopharmaceutical production facility in the Baltic States.
Strongbow Investments in collaboration with Rīga Stradiņš University implements long-term development strategy of the Clinic which covers two basic areas:
1.Increase production and delivery of radiopharmaceutical tracers for PET diagnostics in the Baltic States, Scandinavian countries and Russia, research of the newest radiotracers and other scientific activity;
2.Multi-phase construction of the modern outpatient cancer center with departments of Radiology, Medical Oncology and Radiation Therapy with particular focus on medical tourists from Europe and CIS countries.
